We are pleased to announce the release of WHMCS 8.8 to General Availability.
This marks the end of pre-production testing, and WHMCS 8.8 is now the recommended version for all new installations and updates.
What's new in WHMCS 8.8
- On-Demand Service Renewals - Clients can renew eligible services before the cycle's next automated invoice generation.
- Encrypted MySQL® Connection Support - Encrypt the connection to your TLS enabled database service utilizing new configuration file settings.
- Link wallet for Stripe - Clients can complete checkout using saved payment information from their Link wallet via the Stripe payment option.
- WP Squared - Our latest integration allows cPanel partners to easily sell WordPress® hosting backed by the new WP Squared server product by cPanel.
Getting the Update
Automatic Update You can update to the latest version of WHMCS using the Automatic Updater. Simply navigate to Utilities > Update WHMCS to begin the update process.
As always, a download is also available for those who wish to install or upgrade manually. You can download WHMCS 8.8 from our downloads page.
