WHMCS 9.0.9 is now available as the latest maintenance release for the 9.0 series.

This release is focused on general reliability and performance improvements, along with one change that server module users should note before updating.
WHMCS 9.0.9 improves how MarketConnect service data is cached, which should reduce load times on pages that display MarketConnect offerings. We've also improved how services are ordered on the admin MarketConnect page.

If you use the Plesk server module, please note that WHMCS 9.0.9 now requires Plesk's XML API protocol version 1.6.9.1. Before updating, confirm that your Plesk servers are running Plesk Onyx 17.8 or later, or Plesk Obsidian 18.0 or later. Servers on earlier versions may not work correctly with this module once you've updated.

In your admin area, go to Utilities > Update WHMCS to run the Automatic Updater. This is the simplest route for most installations.

If you manage updates by hand, the full release package and incremental patch files are posted on the WHMCS download page.

Either way, make sure your files and database are backed up before you proceed.
Staying on top of maintenance releases is a small habit that pays off in a more stable, better-supported WHMCS installation.

There's no urgency here the way there is with a security release, but we'd still encourage 9.0 users to schedule this one in the near term, particularly if you run Plesk.
