Every year, we fly the whole team into our head office in Houston for a week of learning, team building and end of year festivities, and this year was no exception.

Thanks to the power of the internet, we're able to have a super talented team that for the majority of the year works remotely, spread across 12 cities and 4 continents, enabling us to take advantage of the best talents wherever they are located and helping us run our customer service and support operations around the clock, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our recent team gathering held in Houston was another productive and fun-filled week! It included a number of workshops and demos on a variety of topics including (of course) the upcoming WHMCS 7.9 and notably Usage Billing which we're all very excited about, along with training sessions for our support and customer service teams. Seeing each other in person really helps boost the team spirit, and that's something that we carry back with us for the year ahead when we return to our home towns.

It wasn't all just work though, we also had a number of fun social events including a quiz night, axe throwing and an end of year party. This year, we joined with cPanel for a special WebPros EOY Event where cPanel's CEO Nick Koston and COO Todd Mitchell along with our CEO Matt Pugh opened the evening with inspiring speeches on what's coming for WebPros and the future of the web hosting industry.
