Maintenance Releases for 7.5 and 7.6

By Matt / January 21st, 2019

Today we have released maintenance updates for the 7.5 and 7.6 series of WHMCS as well as promoted WHMCS 7.7 to General Availability.

The 7.5 and 7.6 releases address usability and bug fix improvements within the respective versions as well as contain some security related updates. We recommend applying this update.

WHMCS 7.7 is also now available in General Availability and is the recommended version for all new installations and upgrades.

PHP 7.3 Support
Additionally, version 7.6.2 provides compatibility for PHP 7.3. PHP 7.3 is also supported by the latest available version of WHMCS, 7.7.0. Note that WHMCS 7.5.3 is not compatible with PHP 7.3.

Upgrading
You can upgrade using the Automatic Updater. The Automatic Updater allows you to apply patches to your currently installed version by customising your update settings and choosing the Current Version channel. You can also upgrade to WHMCS 7.7.0. Learn more

Alternatively, you can download the incremental patch for your version at https://download.whmcs.com/#patch. To install the patch:

1) Download the appropriate files for your version of WHMCS
2) Upload all files found within the zip file to the root WHMCS directory overwriting any existing files

If you are using WHMCS 7.4 or earlier, you should upgrade to the latest version of WHMCS.
